Synopsis

A poetic short film about the Pro-democracy Movement in Hong Kong using simple visuals and a complicated soundscape. Three actors interact with the symbols and express themselves through movements. Symbols, like umbrellas and face masks, from the Umbrella Movement in 2014 are used. Smoke slowly occupies the screen as the film progresses to represent the usage of tear gas on innocent public and the fact that it tenses up the situation. Main elements of the soundscape will include electric guitar and voices from different people who have a say about democracy.

Actors might be duplicated with green screen to create a crowd representing a generation of similar minded people.
